We are racoonbytes

Our story began when we - a small team of graduates from the Stuttgart University of Media - decided to create something of our own. What brought us together was not only our shared studies but also our passion for innovative technologies and creative software solutions. In the first few months, we were often active late into the night - like real raccoons, going on nightly adventures. Our dark circles revealed our long nights, and our food often consisted of whatever we could find - typical raccoons. During these late-night sessions, we were also supported by our loyal Maine Coon cats, who kept us company and added a bit of chaos and comfort to the mix. That’s when the name came naturally: a blend of Maine Coon, raccoon, and the digital bite that kept driving us forward.

Each of us had different areas of expertise: from interactive real-time applications, Extended Reality (XR), and ultra-large-scale systems to AI—fields that fascinate and challenge. This diversity remains our greatest strength to this day. It allows us to approach challenges from different perspectives and continuously discover new ways to solve them.

During our thesis projects, we were already pioneers of new technologies. We not only developed innovative approaches but also gained valuable experience in applying cutting-edge technologies to real-world scenarios. This period taught us how to bring big ideas to life—a knowledge that continues to flow into our projects today.

From this experience, our startup was born—with the vision of designing software not just as a tool but as an experience. For us, this means thinking beyond mere functionality, using technology to inspire people, and providing them with something tangible, useful, and impressive.

What drives us is the joy of creating together, the thrill of developing new ideas, and the belief that the best solutions emerge where curiosity meets expertise. We are a team that loves challenges, looks ahead, and never forgets where we came from.
